Materials: The Heritage of Italian Leather

The Finish: Infused with natural beeswax and palm wax. This specialized "Wax Pull-Up" technique involves traditional hand-rubbing and polishing to create a soft, distinctive, matte “frosted” appearance. 

The Texture: Initially possessing a slightly waxy, matte feel, the leather becomes increasingly soft and supple with daily use. The surface evolves from a frosted finish to a subtle, refined semi-gloss sheen, offering an understated sense of luxury.

The Evolution: Highly reactive and dynamic. Over time, friction, ambient temperature, and contact with natural oils cause the wax layer to shift and gracefully wear away, revealing the leather’s original base tone and developing a one-of-a-kind vintage patina. 

Care Instructions: The Maintenance Ritual

To preserve the longevity and luster of your One Half Studio piece, we include a Care Kit with every order.

Daily Maintenance: Use the provided Velvet Cloth to wipe down the hardware and leather surface in a dry state. This removes dust and ambient oils that can dull the evolving finish. 

Leather Aging: Embrace the character. As the leather matures from deeper to lighter tones, minor surface marks from daily adventures can be easily self-healed by gently rubbing the area with your thumb or a soft cloth, smoothy blending the natural waxes.
